Thursday July 6 2:00 PM. We are back from lunch and finishing up many different items such as preparing the opening for the framed front door to fit in, calking and touch up paint around the windows, indoor painted wood to line the openings to each room molding at bottom of the inside walls, final outdoor grounds work.
Thank you are for praying for the progress physically and spiritually that God has wrought for each of us this week. Please pray for us as we get together tonight to worship and share with each other what God has been doing in our lives this week.

Thursday July 6 2:00 PM. Thursday morning July 6 we have set to work lots of different things to finish up for the house and the landscaping and so people are working in many different locations and this is a collage of pictures of some of the things going on and the work continues to go even as I`m posting these!

July 5th, Wednesday morning. We prayed and learned of the various things we can do this morning and broke into teams. Some are helping the family build a bird house, others painting, some scrape cement excess away from the walls outside, some are working to finish the roof structure and others cleaning up the yard by shovels and rakes. Please pray for us to be efficient & witnesses of working by, for and with the Lord.

July 5th, Wednesday morning. We prayed and learned of the various things we can do this morning and broke into teams. After a wonderful lunch with the day care kids, who are ready for their afternoon nap, we get to the job site to see a shower and sheetrock delivered. After the deliver we were assigned the various team opportunities and started working.

After an amazing "homemade" lunch at the Welcome Home Outreach Ministry, we drove back to the worksite and got started stuccoing the outside of the house.

We start Monday July 3 with prayer, demonstrations and instructions. Soon the worksite is buzzing with activity. The Welcome Home Outreach Ministry Team has already gotten things started and we get to work with them now to complete this house.

After loading the two vans at church we journeyed through the border and down the toll road in Baja, through Ensenada and past "the truck" landmark , through the beautiful hills and valleys to Vicente Guerrero and after an orientation at the Welcome Home Outreach Ministry where we stay and with whom we minister in building the house for an impoverished family, we conclude this blessed day with tacos and praise! Thank you for your prayers, the trip was even faster than we imagined, the border crossing was smooth, and we arrived praising God and praying for His grace for a good sleep and strength physically and in Christlikeness as we start work on Monday morning.

Our July mission team being prayed for by our church family as we prepare to leave in a week to minister in Vicente Guerrero and encourage those serving the Lord there. We also desire to bless an impovershed family with a house we will build for them. Please pray we also will be touched and changed by Jesus and that we will be His hands and feet and witnesses to the unsaved family for whom we are building a house.
We sponsored a women`s breakfast where Sylvia Maroquin, the wife of our team leader, share with pastor`s wives and women ministry leaders in one nearby city on the armor of God.
We did an outreach to another city to the south where Marvin had grown up and many accepted Christ and then lined up for toys. I was able to get a picture of one little girl having a delightful time with the toy she received which was made by a group of volunteers here at Vista and others who hand make wooden toys.
Mike Viveros and other pastors were up in the jungle area over 100 miles away where they flew in and ministered to several different groups of pastor`s in various locations where the ruins of ancient Myans remain to this day.
We concluded our trip with a special early dinner at a restaurant and one of the pastor`s asked the resteraunt staff to give Joe Verbanic a special dessert and sing happy birthday 🎂 to his surprise!
Joe also introduced us to a friend of his for over 25 years who ministers with CRU and Athlets in Action and numerous connections were made for future working together on additional outreach opportunities.
Thank you all for praying as we were able to minister to hundreds of pastor`s and leaders and over 500 kids and their parents, many of whom came to Christ.

We have enjoyed a couple of days with several outreaches with many kids and parents coming to Jesus. We visited the church where Geovani is pastor that we helped Start 2 years ago in downtown Guatemala city. And to celebrate Giovanni and Joe Verbanic had ice cream!
Thank you for your prayers! We arrived in Guatemala safely and on time and no luggage was lost! We gathered in one of the two houses where we are staying and praised God for His great mercy.
On Thursday we shopped for toys and then had a meal as a team. Thursday evening we organized the toys we purchased plus the wooden toys we brought from Vista. More on the toys in later post.
Then at 3:30 AM we left where we are staying to travel ~3 hours to Tecpan where the pastors on our team are teaching a conference for pastors and leaders about the future events in the Bible.
Please continue to pray as even now is an altar call and many going forward as one of the pastors on our team concludes a passionate message on the tribulation from Matthew 24:9-13.

After some finishing touches we dedicated the house, gave them a family Bible, prayed for the family, gave them the keys, and in they went, and they invited us to come into their house and have lunch with them. The end of a blessed week of being the hands and feet of Jesus.
