GoodLion Ministries
Aaron & Brooklynn Salvato in Yukon, Oklahoma

Aaron & Brooklynn served as volunteers in the Calvary Vista youth ministry for many years. In 2011, Aaron became the middle school pastor at CCV, and in 2014 he had the blessing of moving up with his students into High School ministry. After over a decade of youth ministry, and a wonderful experience teaching at Calvary Chapel Bible College, in 2018 God led Aaron and Brooklynn to Oklahoma. Aaron stepped into a new season of itinerant preaching/teaching, & podcasting ministry. He focused on lending support to several local churches in Oklahoma through small bible studies, running a young adults ministry online during Covid, and building a podcast ministry for young adults that now reaches thousands weekly.

In 2021 the Lord blessed Aaron & Brooklynn with their first son, Jack Harrison Salvato, a massive answer to many years of prayer! In 2022 they began building the GoodLion School of Discipleship, which is a ministry working together with multiple local churches in Oklahoma to build up their young adults through a discipleship program focusing on theology and spiritual development. Aaron teaches locally at the school, runs the podcast ministry, counsels local young adults, mentors young youth pastors, and guest preaches for local youth ministries and churches in his area. He also travels and speaks to churches, schools, youth groups, camps, and conferences.

Love Life

Harriet Clutter, Brianna Brown, Minda Stewart, Nancy Dorrough

Love Life started in Charlotte in 2016, and is spreading across the nation. Our Vista team has been active for three years now, and partnered with Calvary Vista for almost as long.

Calvary Vista has become a House of Refuge through Love Life. That means Calvary Vista speaks on the abortion crisis throughout the year and informs the congregation that we have all kinds of resources for pregnant mothers. So they can come to this church and get real help without being met with condemnation, but with love.

The Mission: Love Life is uniting and mobilizing the Church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to the abortion and the orphan crisis.

The Vision: We follow the 4 step journey found in Nehemiah chapters 1-3 to lead the Church of Christ to repentance and obedience in order to “rebuild the walls”in our cities. This is practically played out when a church Adopts a Week and walks through the 4 steps of Hear, Pray, Go, and Connect.

“Adoption Weeks” take place Sunday through Saturday. On Sunday, the pastor gives a message on Life and gives a call to action for his people to pray and fast on Wednesday, and then to participate in a peaceful prayer walk at their local abortion clinic on Saturday. The last element of the prayer walk gives participants an opportunity to say “yes” to ongoing ministry around the issue of abortion.

Perspective Ministry
Dave & MaryAnne Hommel in Flagstaff, Arizona

Perspective Ministry exists to partner with the body of Christ, be it with churches, pastors, or individuals to discover the ways God’s truth provides for the abundant life Christ promised us. This requires us to shift our outlook, to gain new insight. We are called to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind”, (Romans 12:2), to look at life with God’s perspective. Through God’s Word, by His Spirit, Perspective seeks to be used by God to refresh, revive and renew God’s people.
